‘I’m Still Here’ Artwork Selected for Artist Against Apartheid

We are honored to announce that Julysa Sosa’s artwork, “I Day Dream / I Dream Dream / I’m Still Here,” has been selected for the Artist Against Apartheid campaign. Out of 500 artists from around the world, Julysa’s piece was chosen for its powerful reflection on Indigenous resilience and the deep ties to ancestral memory. Created during a time of grief, this work conveys a message of hope, solidarity, and resistance.

Julysa, a detribalized Indigenous artist, explores themes of colonization, loss, and the reclamation of what remains unbroken—ancestral memory. In answering the call to create for Palestine solidarity, her piece shares a message of perseverance and the importance of dreaming despite hardship.

Download the free posters from the Artist Against Apartheid initiative. Julysa’s artwork is available in PDF #3, 11x17" format, perfect for printing, sharing at protests, or displaying publicly as a reminder that “we exist, and therefore, we can keep dreaming.”
