I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Laura + Forrest's beautiful wedding day. These two met at Brick, while both being casted as actors in a play a few years ago, and celebrated their marriage in the same location. I spent the day capturing moments after moments, holding back tears during one of the most personal and touching ceremonies, and feeling like part of their family by the end of the night. I wish you two so much happiness, you are made for one another.
Yvonne and Jason tied the knot on June 13, 2015 at the historic and beautiful Mission Espada in San Antonio, Texas. I had the pleasure of photographing their intimate wedding, and hope these captured memories last a lifetime. Felicidades!

It's been exactly a year since I photographed Zayra for her sweet sixteen portraits, and this session was just as chaotic and fun as always. Per usual, the glam squad that included my cousin Dayra, my Tia Mayra, and myself, came through with styling, hair and makeup for Zayra's big night. We were all filled with nostalgia and excitement. I can't believe that Zayra is about to be a senior at Samuel Clemens High School, and we've definitely already started planning next year's prom shoot.
I took a trip back to my hometown in Texas this past summer with a group of my cousins. We were all packed with Frozen themed party favors, and gifts heading towards one of my ( technically niece's) birthday party. It had been a few years since I'd seen her last, but family is family, and when she met me (again) both my camera and I were quickly embraced by her.
Aileen and I met a few years ago when both of our dads were stationed in Hawaii. Since then, our families have stayed in contact, and have gotten so close, that I consider them my own blood. For our shoot, we spent the day driving through San Antonio, hopping on and off at different locations and also explored some of the Missions. Aileen graduated this May from UTSA with her Master's Degree in ESL. I admire her greatly and am proud of the example she is setting for many Mexican-American women. Aileen is one of the most confident, self-driven women I know, and her contagious smile made my job very easy!
